    “Where can i buy a …
“Where can i buy a solar board?”

    Try Google.

“Yea man like what the . Is there anyone out there that will actually teach you the without having to visit another website to buy some .”

Homepower Magazine is full of this kind of dope. But again, Google may be of some help. Or just see if HP Mag has some articles on line.

    PG&E (power co in …
PG&E (power co in California) proposed a giant system to pump water between two reservoirs in Sierra mtns. At night pump uphill (conventional power gen) then at day let it run back down through generators. Peak demand is during day. That would have costs 100s of millions $

Solar in southern California is a better deal for them. No capital invest and no maintenance. Peak generation during peak use.

Some power cos in USA are very liberal with net metering.

    Free DIY …
Free DIY instructions huh. Part of those instructions are going to have to include “pay over ten THOUSAND dollars to buy solar panels”.

It’s a con job, folks. These people want to sell you an ebook that claims to tell you how to get solar panels for free. Well you know what they say about too good to be true?

    Talk about red tape …
Talk about red tape. In Hong Kong, the power companies require grid tie users to pay a US$2500 “insurance” fee in case their equipment damage the grid. An effective show stopper to discourage competition from Renewable Energy. The government here is not doing anything to encourage renewable energy as it es off their power company friends, who eventually will increase electricity bills to compensate for their loss. So no friend of the Earth in this part of the world.

    Don’t know about …
Don’t know about the U.S. but I had heard a while ago that in the U.K. the red tape involved in selling electricity to the grid/an electricity co. is so difficult its hardly worth the effort. After all the elec co. is out to make money. How many other co.s would pay you to buy a product they make? Alternatively, you could use the excess elec to pump water to the top of a tower and then when the night comes employ a hydro generator to “get back” the elec you put in.
